Waitlisted for 2bdrm @ BCV

Currently have ressie for 2 bdrm 11/7-11/12 @ SSR... We are waitlisted for a 2bdrm at BCV... This is our first time waitlisting, and was wondering what our chances might be for the wait list to come thru?? I know at this point it's just a "guessing game" whether or not it will come thru, but I was just wondering if others have had luck with wait listing??

MS says that 85% of waitlists are fulfilled. That said, you're WLed at a resort that is very popular at the time (end of Food & Wine and a lower point cost season) AND is very small. Those factors are against you. Could it come through? Sure, but it isn't likely IMO. Good luck in any case.

You might have a better chance for BWV simply because of the size.

I'm on a wait list for either the BWV or BCV in a 2 bedroom for 10/16 - 10/22 Right now we are staying at Seratoga Springs. Hoping one come thru for us.

Have you considered taking the first or last part if available at BCV and then waitlisting for fewer days. Seems like you could match fewer days easier. We have split stays before at two DVC resorts and in fact by choice will do it again our next trip. Bell services will transfer your luggage, you just won't have it for part of a day. It's a bit of a pain to split your stay, but if you really want to experience BCV, it might increase your chances.

I have an active waitlist for 2bed at BCV on 9th and 10th october. I got on the waitlist for those at 11months - 1 week. (got 11th through 15th then)

So I have been on the waitlist for only 2 nights in a 2 bed at BCV for 4 months and have not got them. I expected to get them at the 7 months shuffle but no such luck.

in the OP's case, I would not expect it to come through, but if it does, then thank the gods!

I believe there are 3 2rd catagories at BCV so calling regularly in important since you can nto waitlest for all available 2brs, and as said if you are willing to do a split (if you do not get all your nights) and pick up days from one at in smaller chunks you are much more likely.

There is hope.

We waitlisted for BCV for four nightsincluding most of Columbus Day weekend (which is during F&W). We really weren't expecting it to come through. I just checked the member web site and was shocked to see our WL came through.
