Waitlist success! Now a question...

My waitlist came through for Nov 5th at BCV. Now I have two ressies for BCV. Do I have to link them somehow or will they automatically be linked? I won't have to check out and back in will I? I'll get to stay in the same room right? I've never had a waitlist before, I'm a bit confused.

Play it safe and call MS to make sure the two reservations are linked.

I hope I have luck on my BCV waitlist too! I am waiting for Nov 11 & 12. I already have the room booked on cash but would like to save the money if I can. I would call and make sure the reservations are linked.

Congratulations on the wait list success. As others have said, call Member Services and make sure that the 2 reservations are linked so you do not have to change rooms.

Whether or not they are linked depends on what the CM did when they put the WL info in. If they noticed you were already staying there then they probably linked it. However, if it isn't linked it will be a headache when you check in. You will have to check in, out and back in. I recently was able to get AKV CL for an upcoming trip. I WL the rest of the time and the CM specifically mentioned that the reason it took him a while was because he had to make sure that if the WL came through that the 2 ressies would be linked together.

Like other PP's have said I would call and make sure.

They will automatically be linked. I've had split reservations at the same resort a few times. When we went to VWL last year I booked 6 nights and waitlisted two. The two nights came through and then we decided to add another night. So we had 3 reservations for VWL but they were automatically linked. When you get the confirmation in the mail it should be listed as one reservation.

We're actually staying at AKV Jambo for 7 nights in another week and I waitlisted one or two days at a time so it's 4 reservations. But our confirmation in the mail has it as just one reservation.
