Waitlist question

We are booked into Aulani for 8 nights in July. My kids are now kind of wishing we could go to wdw instead. I know this is probably never going to happen but is there any chance at all a waitlist for 8 nights lake view at VGF could happen? Thinking 8/1-9.

I think it's unlikely.

Have you and your kids ever been to Hawaii? Aulani is a great resort and I'm pretty certain they will have lots of fun. But if the plan is to switch to WDW then you should book something that is available and waitlist VGF. You'd have a better chance of getting a shorter waitlist and also checking online yourself periodically to try and pick up nights that might open up since it would take all of them being free at once for you to get the 8 night waitlist and that makes the chances even less.

That's what I thought, thanks...no we've never been to Hawaii and I know it'll be a fabulous trip so original plan it is!

Are you doing a direct flight? Maybe a detour to Disneyland for a day or two will satisfy them?
