Waitlist question...

Hi all,

I waitlisted two nights at AKL in a value studio a couple months ago. Last night, thought I would check availability and low and behold, the two nights were available for the value studio. So I double checked my waitlist, and it was correct.

This was my first time waitlisting...do they not contact you to let you know the room is now available??

If the room was available, you should have grabbed it. Waitlists are not worked on the spot, someone else or you can take the days before the waitlist is worked, if it is worked.

After several waitlist disappointments, we decided to go broke and buy our favorite home resorts and book at 11 months.

Did you book the nights? Do so if you still can.

I booked them right away. It was at our home resort. Looks like in the future I will just check availability daily
