waitlist question

Has anyone had luck being waitlisted for a studio for one night? We have never waitlisted before, and a lot of the posts seem to be for bigger units. I want to add on an additional night at the beginning of our trip (which would be August 3rd) at VWL, but it wasn't available. We already have 1 week there then 1 week at OKW. Everything else is planned, so I don't want to switch resort dates around. Thanks!

It will depend on the time of year you are going but 1 night is very possible. We waitlisted for BLT for 2 nights in Feb and it came through at 10 days out. Good luck!!!

My 1 night waitlist just came through and it was for BCV in November- during food and wine - on a national holiday. So yes, they CAN come through, but you do have to be prepared with an alternative in case yours doesn't for some reason.

I think my alternative will be pay cash for the night and save the points if it doesn't come through. We are already moving once and DH would not like moving twice. I have to book flights soon, so that is a consideration as well. Thanks for your help!

Don't give up hope! Be patient. I have 1 night waitlists come through a number of times. I have had a waitlist open up for extending a stay and also when I needed one night in the middle of a trip. All were at either BWV or BCV. Good Luck!
