Waitlist question

I have heard 2 different answers from numerous CM's at MS. When you change your waitlist, do you go "to the bottom" of the waitlist for your particular place and time- meaning behind all the other guests for the same time frame? CM's have told me no and others have said yes. Does anyone know the correct answer? or is it all in who you talk to?

The CMs may not know the answer. It sounds like a question for a programmer. I have been told the waitlist is based on the day it is put in, and changing it takes your first request off the waitlist and puts a new entry in at the bottom. When I had it to try, I had enough points to keep my first request in the waitlist from months earlier, and put a different request in for our updated preference. (We didn't get either that time)

My best understanding is if you remove a day (at either end) you can keep your place, but if you add or anything else you go tothe bottom.

No one knows for sure, or even how they fill
