Okay, so I am not sure if I have this correct! I am waitlisted for a 1 bdrm savanah view at kidani in december. We currently have a 1bdrm savanah view in Jambo:banana:. The ms rep said I have a good chance of the waitlist coming through because the second phase has not opened yet. Does this make sense? I would think the rooms would have been booked already knowing the second phase would be open in September.
Thanks for your help!! Just looking for clarification!

What the MS Rep should have said was that he/she expects the Developer to add more rooms to member inventory in the near future. (That process is called "declaring rooms into the condominium). The developer has to do that before it can sell the DVC points associated with those rooms. Once more rooms are added, you have a good chance of getting your waitlist.

Once the second phase of Kidani opens, there will be a lot of rooms ready for occupancy all at once, but they will belong to the Developer until they have been declared into the condominium. If sales are going well, the Developer will add rooms to member inventory more quickly. Until the Developer adds the rooms to member inventory, the developer still owns the rooms and can rent them out for cash (via CRO).

I think you have a good chance of getting your waitlist, too.

Good luck!
