Waitlist for Thanksgiving day

What are my chances of it coming through? I have the days surrounding it in the room I want, but that was the only day they didn't have a kidani 1bd Savannah view so we had to go with standard view at Jambo for 1 nt. I would have thought if it was going to come through it would have been this past week since the 7 month timeframe opened up.

I think you have a very good chance. It's a big resort and I am sure there are people at Kidani that are on waitlists for others resorts. At least you have a backup but I wouldn't worry.

well, the backup plan is 24th having Savannah view 1 bd at kidani, 25th Standard 1bd a jambo, then on the 26th savannah view at kidani, so I am praying I get it so I don't have to change resorts 3 times for 3 nights.

I believe there are still Kidani units to declare so that increases your chances.

Wondering if this worked out for you? I just booked yesterday for a Thanksgiving week trip (just got the kids school calendar and they are off that entire week!). We could only get the first 4 of our nights (the 20th through the 23rd) and I had to wait list the rest. I also had to settle for a studio at SS, which I'm not thrilled about, but that's the price I pay for such a late reservation! I wait listed the last nights in a 1br at OKW, as well as the whole 6 nights in a 1br at OKW. Keeping my fingers crossed! Hope it worked out for you!

I have not had any luck as of yet, and getting worried with the trip just over 90 days out.

I do however have 3 nts at VWL 20-23, 2nts AKV Savannah view Kidani 23-25, then Jambo standard from the 25-27, all are a 1bd, so only planning to move twice

I bet you will get it. We booked our Thanksgiving trip at SSR in Sept. 08 for Nov. 08 and we NEVER got that Thanksgiving night. We ended up staying at ASMU in a family suite for that night...our last night of the trip. IT was a horrible way to spend Thanksgiving after being in a 2br at SSR. So even if you have to move within AKV resort...... that is better than NOT having a room at AKV that night.
