We were just put on the waitlist for BCV, BWV and WLV for October 14th thru October 20th for 2 2BR's. We are currently staying at SSR but wanted to see if we could get anything else. There were a couple of nights here and there but then we would be resort hopping ALOT! So i'm thinking our chances are pretty slim since we need 2 2BR's??? Anyone else have experiences with the waitlist that can give me any info? Should we call back every couple of weeks to check if anything became available or is the waitlist dependable??

I have only had one experience with the waitlist, and it turned out great. I just spoke with MS today and confirmed that my 2br waitlist request for SSR came through. Hopefully, your requests will come through soon. :cool1: Here is a little pixie dust for you! :wizard:

We are doing a split stay the week after you, right around Halloween. We currently have 6 nights at SSR and 2 nights at BCV, all in a 2BR lockoff. We wanted to add BCV to the trip so we could try it out. At the 7 month window we were able to get 2 nights at BCV, but are waitlisting a third night. (there was a mix of dedicated and lockoff availability at the 7 month window, but not 3 nights consecutively). I was thinking that just two nights would not be enough time to really experience BCV. We've been on the waitlist since April for the one night. I'm not too worried, since I figured it would be a long shot during Food & Wine.

I know there have been many pros and cons listed on this board about moving during a stay, but we'll try it this time and see how it goes.

Thanks for all the pixie dust!!! We know getting BCV or BWV is hard during food and wine so we are excited about Saratoga, just not sure how we will like busing it everywhere since we are so used to BCV.. and if we get the waitlist it'll be an added bonus! And about moving during a trip...we did it last time, we went from AKL to WVL and it was fine, though we did have a rent a car so we moved our luggage with us, we just left our stuff in our suitcases for two days and unpacked when we got to the WL. My uncle didnt have a car with him and had his luggage transfered by bell services i guess and he didnt get it until 11pm that night, even though they had their room since 1pm so i suggest bringing a backpack with a change of clothes if you are switching hotels then if your baggage doesnt show up till late you dont have that much of a problem!

Did you consider staying at OKW? Biggest DVC rooms available and since the resort is so large, you might have an easier time booking. :teeth:

Today I cancelled a studio at BCV from 10/10-10/14 and a two bedroom from 10/14-10/19 Hopefully that will help you!
