Waitlist came through!

We have a reservation next June for us and one for my parents. We were only able to get my parents a preferred view studio at BWV because we had to wait until the 7-month mark to use our GCV points. DH made their reservation and put them on the waitlist for a standard view. I got the idea to call today and also add them to a BW view waitlist - if we are using that many points, we might as well have that nice view. Anyway, when I called to add a second waitlist, the very polite, kind, and friendly CM said that our standard view came through!! I am really excited.

I know there have been threads about the likelihood of getting your waitlist if you call. I'm not certain that is what happened today, but it certainly did seem convenient that as I called, one opened up. I really didn't call to check the waitlist, but to add a second one, and the magic worked out for us. I hope everyone waiting on their WL gets their first choice!

Congratulations on your "new" reservations. It seems that quite often the waitlist does come through.

Thanks! I know it seems silly about something like vacation, but I am "relieved" to know it all came together. The ADRs are made, the rooms are set; now we just have to watch for airfares.
