Waitlist came through for 1 night of Club Level 1 bedroom at AKLJ (All I needed to complete)

Eeeeeeee!!!!!! I had 4 nights booked at Animal Kingdom Lodge Concierge in a 1 bedroom suite for the end of August. The 5th night wasn't available so I waitlisted it. Just got an E-mail today that the 5th night has now come through. We will be able to use our annual passes now right up to their expiration date and then leave the next day. I am soooooo excited. This trip is for our 43 Wedding Anniversary. I kept checking myself and just can't believe it actually came through.

Thanks. I got online & booked round-trip on the AutoTrain right away. There were only 2 deluxe sleeper cars left for the trip down, but I got one. Now to just wait til August.

Congratulations! You probably already know this, but you could have used the concierge lounge until it closed on the night of the day you checked out if your waitlist hadn't come through. Of course, if you weren't staying at Jambo House it could have been pretty inconvenient ;-)

I know about having access day of checkout. We won't be heading home til a day later by auto train so will probably stay somewhere local near the station after our last night so we can stick around the lounge a bit longer. We don't have park tickets for the last day since our APs expire on our last full day.

When are you getting married in September? My son is getting married on the 26th and will be in Disney for his honeymoon. Right now I have them booked at AKLK, my home resort, but he would like WL, BC or BW Villas. Checked last night and only WLV seems to have any studios and I can't book till February 27, but they need 9 nights, so I don't know if I will be able to get that for them. He doesn't want to split the stay either. His fiancé says she will be just as happy at AKLV.

We're actually getting married on May 25th but are waiting til the less crowded time period to honeymoon since we figure it'll be more enjoyable (and hopefully a tiny bit cooler). We're checking into AKVJ on September 12th. Those other three resorts your son is interested in were my other three top choices but AKV was my fiance's top choice since he loves animals (his undergrad degree is in zoology). I'll keep my fingers crossed for them to get the resort they want most!
