Waitlist borrowing question.

If setting up a waitlist and you need to borrow points. Are the points automatically borrowed into the current use year even though it is a waitlist or are they kept in their current use year till the waitlist comes through?

The points aren't borrowed until the wait list gets filled.

Thanks. That’s what I thought, the website just states “ once points are borrowed they cannot be returned”.
