Waitlist....borrowing....my brain hurts! HELP!

Okay, we would eventually like a studio somewhere at BWV, VWL, or BCV for W&D 1/2 Marathon in Nov. Which means waitlist.

We can book a 1 BDRM now but would have to borrow 2014 points. If borrowed points need to be used within the UY they're borrowed into AND the w'list comes through (thus, lowering my points, negating the need to borrow), can they use the 2014 borrowed points first, putting my 2013 points back and let me bank those by my deadline?

Or are we "stuck" with a 1 BDRM and should consider ourself lucky to have the space?

Yes, if you have borrowed points for a stay and waitlisted reservation becomes available, MS will (should) use the borrowed points first which will allow you to bank any current points freed up from the cancelled reservation - per your banking deadline.
