Waitlist & Banked Points

I have a reservation that we used banked points on. If I waitlist another resort for the same dates and it comes in, will my banked points be applied to the new reservation or will they use points from my current use year?

It depends on how you set up the waitlist.

If you set it up to cancel the existing reservation (the one with the banked points), MS will use the banked points for the new reservation before taking any of your current use year points.

If you do not ask ti cancel the existing reservation, MS will use current use year points for the new reservation.

If you book online, you can set up the waitlist to cancel an existing reservation and if you call, MS can do the same. If you need to borrow points to complete a reservation you waitlist for, you must give permission to borrow. If you don't, the waitlist will be cancelled when/if it comes through and no reservation will be made.
