How long does it usually take after passing ROFR and sending payment? It's been 3 weeks now and I can barely stand it! Fortunately we have another month before I want to use these points to book a trip for next year, but it's getting too close for comfort!

Meanwhile, even with our recent addition of points, we realize we should buy more. We'll have 580 with these new ones, but we use our points to book rooms (or share a grand villa) with our relatives and we're a family of 6 ourselves. We'll be tapped out again after booking next year's family trip and we'll want to make a couple trips by ourselves, so we better get looking for more.

Generally estoppels take 1-2 weeks, about a week for closing documents to be prepared, mailed and received and then another week to be put into the system. This is a rough outline.

3/6 offered and accepted
3/8 my contracts go back signed
3/12 sellers contracts signed, they didnt have email, had to use mail
3/14 sent to ROFR
4/10 28 days and still no word. Hopefully hear by the EOW
4/12 passed rofr
4/19 informed estoppels all good and in hand of title ccompany
4/25 received closing docs and sent back fedex
5/1 officially closed
5/7 deed recorded
5/8 Put in DIS system without points
5/10 points loaded late day and booking 2 trips ensues

57 days from ROFR to booking a trip
65 days from offer to booking
