waiting...waiting for my add-on points at BCV

Forgot to list in my other thread that when I got on the list there were 5 other people in front of me for March BCV add-on points.

I know it's a complete unknown when I might make it to the top of the list - too many variables to predict - but since I am sitting here fretting over it...

How long do you think I might have to wait? I am just kind of hoping to get this over with soon and get those points in my account.

I missed the outcome of your other thread. How many are you adding on? Did you find out if you were able to use MB?

There was no real outcome. I am on the waitlist. My guide gets in today and still hasn't called. I'll give him some slack...he only got in about 15 minutes ago according to his voicemail.

I still haven't found out about MB. I am hoping that when he calls he can answer a lot of my questions about MB, how long I might be on the waitlist, etc.

Isn't that the truth? Still waiting...I am waiting on calling him...the guy was away for 4 days...he probably has a backlog of calls to get through, not to mention they seem to be VERY busy with SSR sales and tours.

I figure I'll give him till lunchtime, my time, and then break down and call.

I am starting to get rather irritated. I left 2 messages on my guide's voicemail on Tuesday. He was in this AM. I tried calling and got his voicemail - again - and he had changed it so I know he came in.

Why can't I get a freaking phone call returned?

I have simple questions too, it's not like I want to talk his ear off.

1. Any chance I can get MB?
2. Give me a rough idea of a monthly payment on 100 points.

Here is the monthly payment calculations with and without MB.

100 pts @ $84 is $8,400, you put down $840, MB kicks in $1,000, this leaves a balance to finance of $6,560. Your monthly payments would be $85.70 if you finance for 10 years and use direct debit.

this leaves you a balance to finance or $6,720. Your monthly payments would be $87.88 if you finance for 10 years and use direct debit.

Still no contact. I have even tried calling him a couple times today and he hasn't been at his desk at all.

Are my expectations too high? All I want is maybe a 2-3 minute conversation. Is that too much to ask?

zulaya... Just wanted to say that I feel for you! Waiting really stinks. It does seem like the points at BCV are coming through for most people though so just hang in there. I really think your guide should have called you back by now though! I would definatly let him know that you were a bit disappointed that he hadn't gotten back to you sooner.

I have to say, whenever I call my guide he usually calls back within the hour, no kidding!

I would try to get a hold of your guide before 5pm. Tell him it's urgent.

Yes, I am sure he is busy but as long as you don't mind calling, I don't see anything wrong with it. The way the BCV pts are selling out, I don't blame you.

I don't mind calling...I just wish he'd pick up the phone. When I found out I was #6 on the list for my use year, I figured I'd have a bit of a wait. I just want to ask him a couple questions.

OK, here's what you do. Call the DVC office, tell whoever answers that you've called your guide several times about an add-on, and he hasn't returned your calls. Then tell them you would like another guide, anyone that's available. I'll bet they find your original guide real quick. Diana

I think I am close to the record now. My guide just called and I already have the points!

I just wanted to touch base with him, as you all who are reading my saga know, and he called and said, okay I got your points.

I said, you mean the info on my being on the waitlist? And he's like, "No. You got your points."

I asked were these points available for MB and I am able to get MB. But he didn't have that in the paperwork he wrote up so he has to rewrite it and get it out to me next week and I should have paperwork the week of the 15th.

So, whew! I am so glad that I was able to get it done!

The whole reason for adding on was that we have my side of the family coming for part of our Dec trip in 2004. So I need 2 - 2BR at BCV. (I wish I coudl get a GV, but I can't see that happening with me only having BCV points). Now I have enough points to cover them. yeah!
