Ok, I think that I have made a decision as to what to do on Monday of next week. I was thinking about being late a hour or two to be able to be one of the first ones to get in on the Free Dining, but I believe I just might wait till my lunch break around 12:30 or so. I have two packages at Sports already booked and really doubt that this will be a resort that will sell out on the first day to those of us with the Disney Visa. Does anyone out have possibly a different opinion of what I should do. Just wondering. Thanks!

You could always just cancel your current packages...book using Dreams Unlimited now and let them change your ressie to the free dining when or if it's announced. They are fantastic. No calling...or worries they handle it for you. Exactly what I did last year and what I'm doing this year....or I think you will be fine waiting till your lunch break, but you may be on hold longer than your lunch break will be since the lines will probably be swamped. Whatever you decide...good luck to you!

I know every year can be different, but this has been my experience ....
I have a Disney Visa, but have never booked during the Disney Promo time. I have always booked during the general public offer time and have always gotten the resort I wanted (Pop). That being said, this was in 2005 and 2006. I know the offer has probably become more popular as more people find out about it.
I plan on booking Monday. I won't try at 7:00 because I am trying to get the kids off to school then, but will try later in the morning.
If I were you I would feel safe waiting until lunch time. First thing at 7:00 will probably be super busy with long hold times.

That's just my opinion! Good luck!

I have used Free Dining Promo twice both times with Disney Visa. In 2005 I had already booked and then the promo came out. I called up CM and they just reduced the price of my package. In 2006 Promo was out and I called and booked.

Both times, I did not have to change resorts or move my dates. It was as easy as that. I am really not sure what all the wide spread panic is all about. :confused3
