Waiting and losing my mind...

We have made the decision: We are joining DVC... We've done all the research and figured out the $$$$. We can make the offer tomorrow if need be.

We know when we'll use it, where we want to buy, how many points we want and a use year "window". (this of course will change throughout our ownership - but we have a clear picture of the next 7-9 years)

All we need now is for THE LISTING TO SHOW UP ON THE TIMESHARE STORE!!!!!

Actually - there are a few that are close - but I am being a stickler regarding the point amount since I want to keep a tight reign on the maintenance fees.

I suppose it doesn't help that we are buying BCV.

Any good thoughts/karma/luck you can send our way would be much appreciated. There are very few travel destinations that turn out as consistently terrific as WDW - so we are looking forward to many many trips in the future...

If you really don't want to wait, you could buy a contract that falls at least 25 points below what you want and then do an immediate add-on through Disney. Yes, this isn't the cheapest route, but you wouldn't have to wait. Besides, if you had to add 25 points through Disney you're talking about a $750 difference. Yah, that sounds like a lot of money, but when you're spending thousands, it really isn't and you would get exactly what you want. I know it's been mentioned on here that there is a waitlist to buy BCV, but you could always borrow if you wanted to make a reservation before you could buy more.

Sending Pixie dust your way! Be patient... you will get what you want! Keep in mind... you can always add on more points via resale... as long as the use year is the same and the same names are on the title, the points will be on the same membership #.

We love BCV... it's our favorite!
