Wow. I'm playing around with various scenarios for my upcoming trip in April (AFTER Easter weeks). I was considering going to Cabana Bay and picking up single-use EPs for my family of four, thinking they would be a little over $100pp. I just priced them out, and unless I did something wrong, they are going for $175 per day! Before tax! Buckawhaaat? Do you think this is right, or a pricing glitch? I could see this price for Christmas week, but some random non-spring break week in April?

Not likely to be a glitch. Although I don't quite know which version you are looking at, once through or unlimited, 1 park or 2 parks.

We would have paid $189.99+tax for 1 person for Unlimited for 2 parks in early May of this year for a Saturday (Unlimited isn't all that much more than once through). It was better for us to pay for 1 night at Royal Pacific that netted us 2 days of EP. You should check into what the pricing would be for one of the three premier resorts. For the other nights we stayed at Endless Summer Surfside.

Last year my son wanted to go in late July, and it was over $250/day just to add express. That was crazy! He and his girlfriend decided not to go at all. Looking over various months, it's not that uncommon to be near or over $200. Like the previous posted suggested, might be good to do at least 1 night in a premiere hotel, and the rest at CB? or 2 and 2. we've done similar in the past. or if going for several days, may not even need express.

One time use, two park.
single-use EPs for my family of four

Yes, I was already looking into RPR also. I was *considering* CB because the family suite would be a good set-up for us, and I didn't think single-use EPs would cost so much. This pricing pretty much makes the decision for me.

sadly most likely not a glitch.

I remember when we stayed at UOR last year we were looking at adding express for HHN (we had express during the day as we stayed at RPR). Thank god I listened to Craig and Ryno that day on a podcast because they were right: be prepared for a sticker shock. We ended up not purchasing EP for HHN
