Wait...we're going WHERE? My awesome 2 week land and sea solo trip! *Updated 10/23*

Sunday, February 28th continued

After leaving the parade, I decided to watch the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular - one of my favorite spots in the park.

The show was awesome (per usual), but they seemed to have some technical difficulties during it. The truck in the Cairo scene didn't explode, and the scene was cut short very abruptly. For the next couple of minutes, the performers walked around a bit awkwardly, so something was definitely wrong. Not really sure what happened there, but they picked up the show again, and the rest of it continued without a hitch.

After the show, I decided it was time to catch up with my favorite Muppet characters. After that, I headed over the The Great Movie Ride. I'm a huge movie buff, so this ride is one of my favorites.

It was about 6:00 when I left the Great Movie Ride, which left me just enough time to hop in the single rider line for Rockin Roller Coaster. After my ride, I went over to the ampitheater for Fantasmic. It was PACKED and most of the good sections were already full. Once again, being a solo traveler showed its perks, because there were a few single seats open here and there. I got a seat right smack in the center, about 7-8 rows back.
I watched Fantasmic completely mesmerized. It really doesn't matter how many times I see that show, it never fails to blow me away.

After the show, I dealt with the mass exodus out of the theater, and took a quick ride on TOT. After "dropping in," I went to the Magic Kingdom for EMHs. Since this was my first ever "on-property" stay, it was my first EMH experience. I loved it - I was walking into the park while everyone else was leaving. :)

I was starving by that point, so my first stop was at Casey's Corner for a hot dog and some fries. Yum! After that, I started at the right side of the park (something I NEVER do, but I'd caught a lot of the left side the day before). I went towards Space Mountain, but the line was incredibly long, so I decided to come back later. I decided instead to go to Fantasyland. I went on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, with a very short wait, then hopped in line for Peter Pan's Flight. I then caught a showing of Mickey's Philharmagic (which always amazes me), and then visited the Haunted Mansion.

Once I left the Mansion, part of me wanted to see if Splash was up and running, but it was FREEZING at that point, so I decided against it. I was starting to feel exhausted anyways, so I decided that I'd covered a good amount of ground for one day, and headed back to the hotel. I relaxed for a bit, set my wake up call, and went to sleep ready for a new Disney Day in the morning!

I'm really enjoying your TR! I have solo cruise/WDW vacation booked for next summer. I've done WDW on my own plenty of times, but never a cruise, so I'm glad to see just how much you enjoyed yours!
