Wait to see what is next or add on?

We have on initial contract and all of our add ons at BWV. We have been considering another add on for the last few years. I don't see a reason to add on at SSR due to how easy it is to stay there (unless we want to do it only for THV), I thought we would like BLT but now am hearing so many unfavorable things. No desire to stay at AKV. So, should we do an add on now at possibly BLT or hold out until the next new resort? Which could be who knows when? But if it is nothing special, by then we may only be able to get BLT via resale and lose the benefits. Decisions! Decisions! HELP!

My feeling is that you should add on at BLT if you want to own there so that you can take advantage of the advance booking window.

We own there because we really want SV rooms and want to stay there each and every time.

If you are unsure that owning BLT is for you, then I would hold off. Remember, the perks that are being taken away from resale may or may not be always available and IMO, I don't think anyone should or should not buy counting on those.

Hmm,

I would hold out. Obviously there are plans afoot for changes regarding levels of membership. I can't imagine them annoucing any of these changes in the future without having a "sale".

I have stayed at every single DVC property and I really LOVE BLT.

If you get a good price and are happy with the deal....take it.

My suggestion is try to stay there, take your time. DVC will be there. We did buy BLT because of location and all the negative reports freaked me out. We are currently staying at BLT for our 2nd time and LOVE it! MK is our favorite resort and love popping over to just go shopping or walk around. My 1st stay was at OKW and although I loved the resort I kept thinking, "I wish I was at BLT for the location"

The only suggestion that i can offer is that there is no wrong decision here. buying more points whereever is always a good idea.
