We love Palo's and would like to go a second time on our 7 day cruise. Any guesses on which day we should try on the wait list?
I would guess most people try to go on a day at sea.

You can also try the brunch. We didn't do dinner this time around as I wanted to do the normal dining rotation since this was the first 7 dayer on DCL. So we just did brunch on the first sea day. We had scheduled it for 11:30 we had our diS meet at 1:00. Just be warned on the western if you play bingo you will be late. My wife and daughter didn't show up till 12:00. We then had to rush through the brunch.

Days "at sea" probably have fewer people canceling because you're, well, at sea... If you can forego part of the time in a port, try standing by on one of the days you're in a port.

PS - if you get on stand by, find out at what time it's best to call to see if you can get a table... (even when we call at 4:30 or 5:30 or whenever they suggested we call, there wasn't room... but when my wife walked up at 6:45 to the Palo desk and asked if there was anything available for later seating, they said "yes"

so, don't give up! They (like all Disney folk) work hard to find a "yes" when possible...

Try making a reservation for dinner for sometime early in the week. Ask your server if there are any reservations available for the rest of the week. We did this and our waiter called our room to let us know that we could get a second reservation for dinner as well as brunch. We had the same waiter for all four times that we went to Palo's. We had the luck of having dinner at Palo on the nights that we were scheduled to go to our least favorite restaurant.

You went to Palo's 4 times on the same cruise!?!?!
Cool! :hyper:

Our daughter works in Palos: if you were unable to get a reservation for Palo - then try calling them each morning/afternoon. They will try and accomodate you. Many folk dont bother to turn up, and they do have some cancellations for various reasons. Dont miss the Brunch! Nat:Pinkbounc
