Wait for SDD after RDing RnR and ToT?

My current plan has us rope dropping RnR and ToT on a regular 9am park open day before heading over to TSL for SDD. What kind of wait can we expect for SDD doing it this way? Would it be better to wait and try to ride it when we come back into the park for Sunset Seasons Greetings/JBJB?

I suggest getting in line for SDD around 30 minutes prior to park closing. We did this and waited approximately 40 minutes.

We did RnR first during an EMH morning then went to SDD directly after. The wait was 105 minutes. We decided to skip it entirely.

You're better off being at the very front of the rope drop crowd, doing SDD first, then heading to RnR or ToT.

Long. If you want to ride this with a reasonable wait, you need to change your plan. Either arrive early and ride it first thing, wait until just before park closing and get in line, or get a FP.

When we were there in October, the SDD line quickly ballooned once the park was open. We were there more than one morning during our trip. The longest times of the day we saw were probably from around 9:20 to 10:30. We saw it at 180 minutes. We were not there at high crowd times. I would either go there first and then to RNR and TOT, or I would try to do it around closing. The shortest line we saw for SDD was 60 minutes and most of the day it was between 90 and 120 minutes. Also, once you get your 3 FP done in the park (with one of those being a tier one)you can attempt to get a 4th FP+ for it. The best way to try it when one doesn't come up when you check is to book anything you can (I try to book one towards the end of the day since I don't plan to use that one) and then to keep trying to refresh and modify it to move it to SDD. I had luck doing that with FOP at AK. I did not have luck doing it with SDD although I tried, but I did pick up an Alien Saucers that way. Part of that depends on how big your party is-- there were only 3 of us-- so it was probably easier for us to pick some things up.

You can save Tower for later if possible as that line gets really short in the evening. We once rode 13 times in 2 hours just for the fun of it.

I checked Slinky one day last week for a similar request. The wait was 140 minutes shortly after the park opened and 30 minutes about a half hour before the park closed,

It would be nice to take into account your FP plans for the day ??? Do you have any, what times are they, are you desiring to keep FP's for later in the day? I've had enormous success getting FP's for even the hardest to get rides, at really good times, when I check the night before and the morning of. So, even if you don't have great ones now, there will be a mass shuffle when people begin changing their plans on the fly. You will likely be able to FP one or more of these.

When using this strategy on a long wait ride. Try and aim for 5 minutes before closing, you'll reduce the amount of time that a FP holder can join the line.
