Heya,
We're heading to Buffalo on a Saturday in December, to stay over (Homewood Suites Buffalo Airport) before a 7am (!!) Sunday flight.
Any educated guesses as to anticipated wait times at the border, and which bridge(s) we should be considering?

I'm game to leave as early in the day as is reasonable for our crew, take lots of stuff to entertain the 5yos in the backseat, and be prepared for a wait. If we make it over 'early' we can hit the children's museum before dinner. If not, well, we're sure to get there eventually and can eat in the car if need be :-)

Good afternoon :goodvibes
I just came back from spending 2 nights in Erie, PA. We left monday, crossing the border at around noon. We crossed at the Peace Bridge and our wait time was about 5 minutes. Coming home, we didn't have to wait at all, just drove right up.
Good luck and have a nice holiday!

We had no waits at all last week. Crossed over at 1:30 on Thursday and at various times(we had 6 groups) on Sat. no waits for anyone.

which bridge(s) we should be considering?

95% of the time, the Peace Bridge (Fort Erie) will have the shortest lines (plus, it's a very short drive from this border crossing, to the Buffalo airport).

95% of the time, the Queenston/Lewiston crossing will have the longest lineups.

It's not uncommon for Queenston/Lesiston to have a 60-90 minutes wait on weekend mornings, while Fort Erie will be 10 minutes or less.
