Okay, discussion this morning with 3 year old Selena (after looking at pictures of Sonya's adorable Sam )

"Is that like the baby you're going to have?"

"Yes."

"Is that baby a boy or girl?"

"A boy."

"So the baby in your tummy is a boy?"

"I don't know yet. It might be a girl baby."

"Was I a boy baby in your tummy?"

"No, you were a girl baby in my tummy."

"Wait a minute....are you jokin' me?? I <b>was</b> in your tummy?...............................how'd I get out??"


LOL!!!! Just the tone of her voice was quite hysterical, so it might not come off as funny to you guys!!

I am feeling pretty good actually. I am 14 weeks
today......only 6 weeks until my personal "critical" moment. I think I will feel better mentally once I pass that point.

Did she ask you if her little brother/sister will be named Sam, too? Kids are so sweet with their questions.

My ds asks me how he got out too. A couple of hours after I had him, I fell getting out of the shower and cut my knee open. I have a nice little scar there. I told him that's where he popped out at. That scar is about 2-3 hours younger than he is.

That is so cute. I remember when I was little thinking babies came out of the belly button. I knew that the belly button had something to do with birth-- I just had the wrong party's belly button involved and I couldn't quite figure out how something so big got out something so small.
