I didn't think about this till now I assumed I could use the regular site the one with jsut water and eletric but we do and an rv 30 ft. are plans are this to also have a tent as well ....we don;t need the swr jsut water and eletric can the water be hooked up the the rv on this site or is it jsut for tents? thanks

Typically the electric only sites will not be big enough for a 30 ft TT let alone an additional tent also.

With a unit that big you will need a full hookup site. Even if you found a partial site, what would you do with the waste water ? you cant dump gray water on the ground.

where can I learn about waht site you can do what at I haven't taht info at the dis. site I looked thats why i assummed i could ust that site I can't find info on how big they are or what is used for what or what you can and can't do there in terms of gray wahter and etc. thanks

Oh man, I'm having a hard time understanding this post. Please be kind to the rest of us and use a few capital letters and punctuations.;) (and spell check)

Cheermom, First start here and read about the Fort and what sites are what.

Then you need to be realistic about how you will camp. I would think with a 30 foot camper you would at the least use the restroom some. Even if only during the night. So you will need at a minumum is water, electricity and sewer. The only thing really left to decide is if you want a prefered site or maybe a specific loop. Its not worth trying to saving a few bucks to get by without sewer. Like it was said before. You can not discharge any watse water on site. Gray water or otherwise. You are not even supposed to wash dishes outside under the hose. You can prob get away with it but why break the rules.

Finally good luck and have fun. People here welcome questions but try to read some and then ask specific questions.

You will have to have a full hookup site [water, electric and sewer]. Pop-ups and tents only on the partial sites [electric and water].

Do you have any experience with this size trailer? or is this a new unit to you?

this is my parents rv not mine ...i want everything go right so we can enjoy our trip and not get in trouble but I am confued because the dis. site that i was on doesn't say that the regular sites are for jsut tents and popups so i assumed they were all the same size and that we could camp there with the rv and no we talked about the bathroom issue we were going to use the comfort stations even at night ...see this is the only way we would be able to afford to go and this is trip of a life time for all of us ..first time for us all and problly be our only trip so we are tring our best to make it happen thanks

I don't know how this fits in your budget but there is a pop-up rental you can use that will set up for you at the Fort, The $ saved not having to pull a 30 ft RV might make up the difference. It could go on a partial site along with a tent. http://www.greatoutdoorscamperrental.com/

sorry we 9 people and our car won't hold that meny people and our stuff taht we will need and we have a 24 hr. drive thansk tho

When you go to make reservations the Disney cast member should advise you what type of site will accomodate that trailer. The electric only sites are smaller and would not fit all of your gear. Knowing that, you will need to be in a full hookup site. As of today Disney has 2 types of full hookup sites, preffered and standard, The preffered are located closer to the settlement area (where trails end restaurant, beach and boat dock and trading post are). They also have cable TV. The standard sites are spread out through the remaining campground. Within each type of site there are a variety of sizes, Disney takes into account your trailer size and other factors when assigning your site. They will not guarantee you a specific site.

Understanding your story better now, I would suggest that you spend some time reading posts that pertain to sites and locations and look at any maps you may find. The particular loops and sites is VERY subjective, what I like may not be what someone else does. You will have to read and decide for yourself.

If I may make a personal note: Unless you have someone traveling with you that has used that trailer before, you should make sure and familiarize yourself with the different systems and their operations before the trip. It sounds like you have a lot of expectations of this trip and trying to learn how to operate an RV while on the road may add some unwanted stress.

no we are comming from north west arkansas, my dad will be driving mostly and he is going to show my dh everything too...and we don;t care where we are loctaed as long as we get a site thanks for all the info :thumbsup2
