Wacky neighbors!

I swear, I can not figure my neigbhor out! Last night, it was in the 40's with blustery winds. I took Tazz out at 9 pm for his final "outing"....the guy across the street is hanging Christmas lights!! Keep in mind, this is the first time EVER that this man has ever even put up one decoration!

Tonight...it more frigid than last night, still blustery...he's outside right now, in a t-shirt power washing his house!! Has hell frozen over and someone forgot to send me the meno??

Maybe they are having out of town guests for Thanksgiving or Christmas and he wants his house to look good.

Welcome to my world! My neighborhood is filled with strange personalities...although all good people. The guy down the street sweeps and hoses down the road in front of his house. I have never seen the people who live on one side of me...even though I have lived here for more than a year and I know they are there. I do know that they have a cat and last winter hung icicle lights from the house that turned into potentially lethal objects when they turned into real icicles. The people across the street only mow their lawn at night...late at night. The woman next door vacuums her house more than once a day and her DD thinks Harry Potter is real. And every once in a while, the town comes and plants a tree in your front yard that you can't remove.

Hey, at least it's not boring!
