VWL Views

We will be at VWL in 79 days (not that I am counting). This will be my first time at this resort and we will be staying in a 1 bedroom.

Is there a best view or anything in particular that I should request?

This will be my DH's first trip to WDW as well as we will be celebrating his recovery from what could have been a fatal illness so I want to make this trip as perfect as possible!!

Views at VWL are almost all of trees. You might want to request near the elevators to keep the "hallway walking" to a minimum, though the resort is not very big. There are some rooms that look out over the small pool or that have a glimpse of the lake through the trees, but really views at VWL are pretty similar in most rooms.

All of the views are pretty good. There is a famous 'dumpster' view which we were lucky enough to get but I think you can only see it from a studio so you should be fine. I agree with requesting something close to the elevator - but no biggie if you don't get it. You will LOVE WLV!! They are my fave!

I don't get into the VWL view debate, but I wanted to say that I'm glad your husband is healthy!
