Hello, all. We arrive at Wilderness Lodge tomorrow and will depart on Thursday. It doesn't look like anybody else from our groupie list will be there. Bummer. Would like to see you all again. In other news, I heard through the grapevine that the DVC Planner app has been updated with the 2027 points charts and is waiting for review.

Wish I could be there in person but it’ll have to be just in spirit…my reverse shoulder replace surgery is scheduled for Dec15 - it’s called reverse because the metal ‘ball’ will be on my shoulder while the plastic ‘socket’ will be in my arm - it kinda reminds me of the weird dolls from Sid in Toy Story

I’ve had one in my right shoulder for almost six years now. Best wishes for uncomplicated surgery and recovery for you!

I see that the boat dock will be closed at the end of January. Is this something that happens very often? We like to go in late January but if it's common, we might want to change our minds about that. The boat to MK is one of our favorite things about staying at BRV.

Like I said, I can't remember hearing the last time it was down for any extended timeframe, not like the Skyliner which tends to go down each January. Someone else may remember something, but I don't recall or remember anyone here posting about it.

We went in January 2024 and 2025 and the boat was open so I was hoping that meant this likely wasn't a regular thing. But I suppose it could end up being a "new" regular thing so I guess time will tell. The skyliner going down in January was actually the reason I was concerned.
