Just now saw that a Moonlight Magic date will be opening up for our upcoming Nov trip. Does anyone know what time we can sign up once the event opens up on Oct. 2?

Normally booking begins at 11 AM Eastern, although you can join the waiting room beforehand. I think the 11 AM time for these new nights is confirmed on the DVC member website already.

My dad came home Wed. this past week and doing really good! He will start PT at home this week, but he is really getting along, almost like nothing happened. He celebrated his 94th Bday yesterday and we will continue the celebration tonight at our house with extended family

Has anyone received an invitation to preview Zootopia: Better Zoogether yet? We’re going to be there before the November 7 opening date, and hope to have the opportunity to preview it!

Wow. Eight days with no further comments. Things must be a) slow or b) really busy for our Groupies.

Well, I've no trips planned to the World in the coming year, though I know many of you do. What are your vacations going to be like?

And, this shot below is one of the details of the latest show I'm directing, Crimes of the Heart. It's a Pulitzer Prize winning Broadway play by Beth Henley that was made into a movie starring Sissy Spacek, Jessica Lange, and Diane Keaton (who passed away last week). Beth is a dear friend of mine and will be at opening night which is tomorrow!

How exciting! As my friends would say, “before the priest-thing happened” I happily directed choirs and shows for more than 20 years.

As for our next trip, we are taking a long Disney trip beginning at the end of February and ending up at a 1-bedroom villa. While we are longtime WL lovers, this will be our first time at VWL and we can’t wait.

Enjoy the heck out of tomorrow night.

I think you'll be in for a treat at VWL. Obviously, Groupies love the Lodge--it's the only criteria to be a Groupie so you're a Groupie now! For many, it's a home away from home.

Had a good dress rehearsal last night (superstition says that's bad juju, but this troupe won't be stopped), and we open in 13 hours! I've been asked if I'm nervous or stressed, and the answer is no. I usually act vice direct, and I'm far more nervous when I'm on stage despite having been in college and community theater for decades. You get to about 10 days out from opening night, and as a director you realize that it's no longer in your hands--the actors have worked hard and now it's up to them. And they're superb! Now, am I excited? You betcha!

In need of help! We stayed in a dedicated 2 bed unit Halloween 2024. 3rd floor, right behind the BR pool, room 3507. Every resort map I find has this marked as a one bed, and the room next door as a studio. however, our secondary bedroom did not have a kitchenette and had two queen beds and no outside entry.

Did they remodel some rooms during the hard goods refurb? I feel like a crazy person! No one ever knows what I’m referencing.

The BRV refurb happened before Halloween 2024, so no to that question! They were done with the refurb by then. Some of the maps are wrong (Touring Plans is great, but there are errors in their room finder feature).
