Got our room booked for the Poly this morning! I'm so excited. I was scared for a minute because I looked at the availability calendar and it was red for the first day but thankfully the guy we are renting from is walking the reservation so we are good. Now we just need to keep our fingers crossed for BLT.

Well…I have to thank the group here! I do not post a lot…but i do read regularly. We have been members since 2017 and last night was our fist time staying at our home resort (BRV). We did not arrive in the room until 12:10 this morning…and this is what we woke up to…thanks for suggestions the upper area lake view. Room 4531 is AWESOME!!!

I did a walkthrough of the alternate layout 2 bedroom for anyone who wants to see it. We are not professionals, this is our (me and my 7 year old) first tour so nothing fancy but at least wanted to show it off.

Thank you for posting this! I am getting so excited thinking about our stay in a 2BR this November with our grandson (and our son and dil)!

Do not owned at BRV, but stayed there in June , got upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom , and it was awesome. Beautiful resort, beautiful rooms.

You can have your castle and/or geodesic sphere view. I think the lake views at Wilderness Lodge are hands-down some the most beautiful vistas to wake up to at any Disney resort. Almost (almost) as good as ocean views at Aulani.

We have AP’s, and the first few days of our November stay are blackout days. We are planning on hanging at the resort one of the days. Is our only option a one day pass purchased at the gate? I don’t believe there are any discount passes available?

I think you are correct Corinne. I don't think discounts kick until the 3rd ticket day. But hanging back at the resort sounds good to me, maybe resort hopping, DS for a bit, Hoop Dee Doo Revue, campfire with s'mores and a movie under the stars, pool with a cold libation(or 2). Either way, have fun!

Kevin Costner has a couple movies where songs are featured at WL. I'm sure you all are aware of it. "Dances With Wolves" and "Field of Dreams"(one of my top 5 favorites)are for sure 2 that I know I have heard music from within the Lodge confines.
I listen occasionally to Spotify and one of the WL themed stations plays a song from his movie "Waterworld." Can anyone confirm of that song is indeed played at WL?
Speaking of WL music, here is another selection that every time I hear it, it instantly takes me to WL in my mind

We have our first stay at BRV in a dedicated 2 bedroom Halloween week. I love the remodel and have been waiting to stay here! We always visit WL, esp during the holiday season.

1. Any activities during the night of Halloween at the resort? (Our last Halloween resort stay was at GF and they had lots of activities and meet and greets planned. it was very fun!)

2. We really want a pool view and a murphy bed. What requests would you put in to attempt to make that happen?

So....we booked our flights for January and finalized our trip dates. Then I saw that I could add an extra night at BR so......we're going for 6 nights instead of 5 now. Ha! I'm excited. Countdown is around 200 days now!

I'm still shocked we managed to get a BRV studio! I was looking forward to staying at SSR too though so maybe next time!

Thank you for mentioning the families too! I saw my Mom having to do a lot of sacrificing because of my Dad being in the military. He was gone a lot for a while. Either overseas or in another state for most of the week and she had to handle everything on her own.
