VWL - Do we drive up to the WL front door or is there another entrance? Also, pools.

Hello. We leave tonight. When we get to the VWL, do we drive up and get out at the Main Wilderness Lodge or does the VWL have its own entrance?

Also, pools...does VWL have its own pool and hot tub or do you use the ones at WL...

And lastly, are these stupid questions with obvious answers that I just don't know. (This last one is a distinct possibility!)

There are no stupid questions. You will use the main WL entrance it is shared by WL and VWL as is check-in...You may use any of the Resorts guest services as well as the pools.

Pools:All pools are outdoor and heated
One Main feature pool with a slide (Silver Creek Springs Pool)
One quiet pool located at Villas (Hidden Springs Pool)
Kiddie pool
Three Jacuzzis (Two next to Silver Creek Springs Pool one at Villas next to Hidden Springs Pool)

P.S. I was at the Lodge this past week-end...The Christmas decorations are beautiful at the Lodge and Villas.

you use the same entrance and the same check-in counters -

yes VWL has it own pool and hot tub(spa) - but the one at WL is also opened to you - that pool has a slide - the one at VWL does not.

remember to bring laundry tablets and fabric softner.

Use both the regular Lodge entrance and also the regular Lodge check-in counter.

Yes, the villas have a separate pool. Also you may use the main pool at the Lodge.

Having seen someone unloading their van in front of the walkway to the VWL (whidh happens to be the bus stop to all the parks) I can tell you that you have asked worthy question. There was no pixie dust in ther air from the bus drivers as they maneuvered around this obstacle.
