VWL Construction Update - Jan 2, 2017

No, this photo was not taken from my room. It's a photo from a small window in the hallway on the top floor (5th floor in the DVC Building).

While most of the beautiful trees have been removed from our beautiful Wilderness Lodge (AKA Boulder Ridge Lodge by foreigners, aliens and unpatriotic Americans), we now have a fairly spectacular view of Seven Seas Lagoon!

And while everyone has been avoiding our wonderful Wilderness Lodge during construction, the truth is that right now it's more peaceful and serene than ever!

It's not necessarily a bad thing for some. Reallocation with a lake view option presumably at a higher point per night rate means a new lower point per night rate for standard view. It all depends on what one is interested.

I won't be surprised because they can do whatever they like but I don't think they'll do that. WL rooms will have some changes to room views though IMO.
