VRBO Near Disneyland?

Has anyone ever used VRBO for houses/condos near Disneyland? We are coming with my sister and it looks like it would be cheaper to stay at a VRBO rather than 2 hotel rooms. It looks like there are quite a few that say they are a 5 minute walk from Goofy parking garage.

I don't have any experience with VRBO near DL, but am interested in hearing.

We are using VRBO for our stay coming up in 10 days. This is the rental we rented, https://www.vrbo.com/572994# I have rented from VRBO in the past at different locations and I have been very happy with the outcome of each. I will post an update after our trip.

I've also used VRBO for two rentals near Disneyland. The two houses I've stayed at were fine and the rental didn't have any problems. I have mixed feelings about the walk back at night depending on where the house is located. In terms of walking distances, I think "5 minutes" can mean very different things (i.e., where they are measuring and how fast someone or a group is walking), so I would be sure to look at a map before going ahead with the rental to figure out how long it will really take to get to the main gate.

There is no Goofy Parking Structure at DLR that I know of...there is the Mickey & Friends structure and the Toy Story and Pumbaa lots, along with the Simba and DTD parking lot. If they are "5 minute" from the M&F Parking Structure, you'd either have to catch the tram from there or walk almost the length of DTD (so another 5 to 10 minutes) to get to the main gate.

We are staying at the Mrs Mouse Townhouse in April (not sure if they're on VRBO, but they do list on Homeaway). It's 3BR, but I believe they have some smaller options. Obviously, I can't speak to the walk or anything yet - but I can tell you they've been delightful to work with, always answering my questions very promptly, and helping me deal with some unique situations with my booking.
