Just curious... Is the actress singing or lip synching?

She sings. I know this because on one of our trips, she clearly was not feeling well and lets just say she was not exactly on key that day. That and the fact we've seen it a bunch and heard different voices.

So this isn't about the person playing Little Mermaid but it is about the show.last year, my DD & I were watching the show and the dog loss his head, literally. The head fell off the cm and went rolling towards the back of the stage! The cm kept acting like a dog but without his head. Omg! It was so funny, we laughed about it for the rest.of the day.
