Voyage Little Mermaid closed Sept. 7-10, what else to see at HS???

We plan on going to HS on Sept 8th...or we did. There seems to be less and less to see and do there. Now I hear that the Voyage of the Little Mermaid will also be down from 7-10 in Sept.

Tower of Terror, Rock-N-Roller Coaster, Toy Story Midway Mania, Star Tours (a few times), The Muppet 4D show, an ADR at 50's Prime Time or Sci Fi Dine In, catch a show or two, do the animation class and see Fantasmic. You can still make a day of it but it will not be a rushed day. If you want, you can do a Fantasmic Dining Package. I liked the VIP treatment but it was expensive. I don't think skipping the soon to be named something else park is necessarily a "skip" it just doesn't require a full day depending on season. My last trip, I actually left way earlier than expected.

If you like the fairy tale movies (like Little Mermaid), definitely see the Beauty and the Beast show. If you finish everything early and have park hoppers, go to EPCOT (boat or walk) for the evening. Alternatively, walk or take the boat to one of the EPCOT resort hotels (BW, BC/YC, Swan/Dolphin) and grab a bus to Downtown Disney (but be aware that bus service from these hotels in the afternoon is slow) or go to the Swan and walk to Fantasia Gardens mini golf.

We could do Mini golf...we will have free tickets with our package. Or do the boardwalk or swim. It will be our first night there and we are staying at the Beach Club. I have a 5p reservation at 50's Prime Time but maybe I need to switch that time to earlier...I don't know.
