Vow Renewal at DLH..

This is a bit if a pipe dream and would be several years in the making, but I am feeling optimistic and I wanted to look into it. We stayed at DLH in October and fell in love with the place. My husband and I walked the grounds and found the sweetest gazebo on the property and noticed during our weeklong stay several weddings being set up. We have talked about a vow renewal for a long time. We were married VERY young. We will be married 20 years in 2027. Where would one start to even get an idea about cost and options for that? We don't want a full wedding. Just a simple vow renewal in the gazebo with maybe our kids there, good pictures of it... is this even a possibility?

It is a possibility, albeit a very expensive one. Disney treats vow renewals the same as weddings and has package pricing. You cannot hold this kind of ceremony "under the radar" on Disney property, so if you want to do this, you'll have to go through their wedding department.

Expect to spend $10,000 minimum. That's the entry point.

You can browse the Disney weddings site for some ideas. We got married at Disney's Wedding Pavilion at WDW in 2001. It was a full fledged ceremony and reception for 50 people and cost us exactly $10,500. It was a steal at the time.

Disney puts on fabulous events. I would highly recommend them if the budget allows.
