Fun atmosphere. I think they still do the drums and the parade through the restaurant for the kids. I also like that it is a buffet, so there's lots of choices for everyone to find something.

Waaay distant fourth, Garden Grill. The long booths for parties over four people quite frankly suck...impossible for people sitting in the middle to easily get out to take pics with characters. And in our experience, the characters were distracted and not nearly as fun as others at different restaurants (they stood by awkwardly as our large party unwound from our long booth...and everyone having to get out of the way...every few minutes mind you...of the servers streaming by in the narrow aisles with the trays full of food as we were trying to take pictures did not help either). Smaller parties seemed to have more fun. We won’t be back anytime soon.

Garden Grill had the best interaction with Mickey for us. Mickey even sat at the table with us and tried to have a "conversation" asking us where we had been, where we are going and signed a piece of paper for my mom whom I told him wanted a Mickey souvenir. Characters came by at least twice during our meal. Chip and Dale were also a hoot and had great interaction.

Another vote for Garden Grill. We sort of ended up there by accident in September and it was so fun. The characters took plenty of time with us. We were in a booth, but some of the party didn’t want to be in the photos, so they sat in the middle. The food was decent as well.

Tusker House for me. Great character interaction. Seemed liked they spent a decent amount of time with every table.

We have always had great character interaction at Garden Grill. Characters that meet there are Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

We must have gone to Tusker House on an off day. The character interaction was so poor, for the first time in about 30+ character meals we had to complain to the manager. It put us off that place forever. Garden Grill however has always been wonderful. If you really want the best Mickey Mouse interaction i would highly recommend meeting talking Mickey in MK, now that is an amazing character meet and greet in our experience.

Tusker House was awesome. Our ADR was a late dinner with young kids.
The restaurant was starting to clear out. They spent so much time with us. Goofy was sitting with us through our dessert. My oldest kid (5) couldn’t stop laughing. Great memories!

I did not see Mickey Mouse last month at tusker house.


My vote is with garden grill also.

Our favorites were Eeyore and Tigger at Crystal Palace and Donald and Mickey at Hollywood and Vine.
Both those were 4:30ish dinners which in retrospect might be what made the interaction great- not as crowded and not as tired characters.

We also had Tusker House and Garden Grill at normal meal times. Those interactions were good but not quite as special or memorable.

Probably should also post a poll for 'Best Disney Springs' restaurant (value for $ and quality)

In our opinion, the Sunday character breakfast at Hilton Disney Springs is by far the best character meal, terrific interaction, certainly best value for the $, and far superior quality to the food at the on-site character breakfasts!

Best Character interactions for us have definitely been at 1900 PF but no Mickey there.

For Mickey, I’d go with Tusker House or Ohana. Had good interactions at both and didn’t feel rushed.

On Disneys official site it lists Ohanas character's as Lilo and Stich ONLY - and characters are subject to change. I dont want to disappoint my kids and they really want Mickey - are you sure MM will be there?

I know characters are always subject to change.

Every time we’ve gone to breakfast at Ohana, we’ve seen Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto.

For Mickey - Garden Grill, but Tusker is a close second. Stay away from Chef Mickey's.

Tusker House! Donald danced with me and Goofy stole my chair (when I was getting more food) because he was waiting for Donald to finish with the next table.

Key for best interaction: eat at off-times so the restaurant is emptier. We had great interactions at Crystal Palace during an 8:15 breakfast and Tusker House for 4:30 dinner.
