Hey! I remember your other post about chocolate covered strawberries. Unfortunately Von's, at least the ones by my house, do not have chocolate covered strawberries. Occasionally in the bakery I will see a chocolate cake that has a couple of chocolate covered strawberries on top as a garnish, but not strawberries alone.
Are you staying in a hotel that has a microwave? If so, they are super easy to make. You don't need a stove, just chocolate chips and a microwave-safe bowl (advice from Ina Garten on Barefoot Contessa). I just microwave some chocolate chips in a bowl for a minute or so, stir them, then microwave again until melted. Then, I dip the strawberries in the melted chocolate and let them cool on a cookie sheet covered in wax or parchment paper.
Just buy the ready to dip chocolate dip I mentioned before Jade. It's super easy, in a microwave safe bowl, stores in the fridge. You just zap it to heat it then dip your berries. If you haven't opened it yet you can even store it outside the fridge, so if you wanted to use it for your F! night just take the berries and chocolate in, you could put them in a locker for the day and grab them before you go to F! (or WoC, or the fireworks) and the chocolate will be warm/soft enough to dip. We've actually taken that dip when we go camping, we dip apples, strawberries, mango, cherries, and all kinds of yummy fruit in it.
When we were at DL a few weeks ago, we bought a package of Strawberries and chocolate dipping sauce in the parks, by the little outdoor shop right by the Jungle Cruise, they were very good too, I think it was about 4.99 for the package.
