VMK Photo Museum Quest

I had a brilliant idea (as always *ahem*) of how I can maybe get more people into my VMK Photo Museum room -and- get rid of all my extra pins.

So I decided to make a quest!

Easy quest, no mini games required. No magic needed. All you do pretty much is walk around the museum (all 7 floors I think) looking at the pictures and answering simple questions based on some of the captions. Yeah and maybe pick up a skull or golden mickey here and there.

Good exposure for me, free pin for you.
win-win situation.

p.s. I didn't realize how long this quest was. yikes! (40 tasks)

i did your quest last night and all of your rooms are VERY cool - although I could not complete the last task- I took the wrong teleporter and could never find my way back

p.s. the prizes will get somewhat better when I get rid of all my NPC and buyable pins and start getting into the host game pins and pin collections from months back.

oh, and for those of you who have finished the quest and thought those rooms were funny, ask for a ticket to my "Special Collection" room.

Okay so today's prizes are better than yesterdays.
Since I had 14 people do the quest yesterday, I allocated about that same # of pins for today, so if you do the quest again today (or for the first time) you could win a pin from the following sets:

Holiday '06
Hotels '06
Park food
Space Mountain
Old Fireworks level 2 pin
4th of July pin

p.s. I went from 4 points the day it started to 120 when I opened the quest today. so what I am really asking is: is a 116 point jump good?

..because that's not the room where the book for Fantasyland appears.
(it's in the Castle Forecourt..or Castle For Court since we suprisingly cannot say Forecourt in VMK...)

I ran out of prizes!

I got my quest up and running early this afternoon and when I came home from work I find my quest had stopped because all the prizes had been won.



But...the prizes have been replenished and the quest is currently up and running right now in case anyone reads this and wants to check it out.

I'm here until closing!

btw, is it wrong of me to not want to help ppl do this quest? I mean, sure I'll help someone who is stuck but if a person goes up to start it and then comes back down and starts asking me the Qs, I get a little annoyed.

Usually I just tell them "the answers are all in the pictures".

That's the point of the quest, I want them to look at (and laugh at, hopefully) my pictures! and the answers to the questions are in the pics for that room. each floor has like 5 questions each pertaining to pics in that room, so there's no travelling around involved.

It was a wonderful quest and you have a great sense of humor!

Don't worry about the questions - anyone who has a quest has guests asking for the answers. Your answer about reading the pictures is all the hints they need (except maybe for the Castle For Court answer). Don't let guests who complain get you down. Enjoy those guests who enjoy your quest!

attack of the clones?

1st day the average quest time was around an hour.
lately though, it's been about 10-15 minutes.

me thinks the VMK character clones are my most frequent questers.

btw, still open! lots of decent pin prizes! I promise I won't boot if you can't find the picture that answers the first question!

holy shnikies!
this quest is still going! and I still have pins left to give out as prizes! (woot!) so yeah, if you are bored and have some time to kill, swing by my room and do my quest! the average quest time has dropped from an hour down to 30 minutes, with some mules..er..people finishing it in 9-10 minutes.

..and the more people I get in, the more staff may notice me and give me that awesome "best quest" pin.

oh and I already had some dumbo boy tell me that I copied his quest. *rollseyes* really now, if it's who I think it was, I had my Photo Museum at 4 floors before I even saw his and his one room, so really, who was copying who?

Try saying For Court. I've never tryed this but it might work.

I haven't done your quest yet sweet, but it sure sounds like a blast. I understand what you mean about guests asking for the answers. Your quest sounds similar to my Pirate Holiday museum tour and Quest. In my quest you tour my " museum " and at the end answer questions about the rooms you just went through. I hope your still up and running today.
