VMK is at it again.. and not just for titles with characters :(

Aww, so sorry your son will be disappointed. Hopefully, you will find a good substitute.

I thought VMK was done making people change their titles?

I just logged into my son's account to do the quest for him and got this! His title has NOTHING to do with ANY Disney character! He has had this title since June 2005.. everything in his life revolves around the word Cheeze.

What is up VMK?? :furious:

Poor Cheeze:hug:

PurpleDuck, what if your son picked a more specific type of cheese? Such as:

Juustoleipa: a round cheese made from reindeer milk
Blue Rathgore: ranks among vegetarian blue cheeses, with a creamy consistency and a blue green mold
Capricorn Goat: a fresh, creamy cheese with a background of chicory and nuts, Capricorn Goat won bronze medals at the British Cheese Awards
Gorgonzola: a veined Italian blue cheese occasionally offered as a pizza topping
Caravane: a camel-milk cheese collected by a thousand nomadic herdsmen in Mauritania
Muenster: a washed-rind cheese often used in dishes such as grilled cheese sandwiches and tuna melts
Caciotta: cheese produced in many regions of Italy from the milk of cows, sheep, goats or water buffalo

Wikipedia lists hundreds more by country. ;)

Hmm, all this cheese talk makes me want to chow down on a chunk of mozzarella.

"Cheese" is Tylenol PM chopped up and mixed with black tar heroin, then snorted. At only about $2 a hit, kids can afford it. Many of the people who deal it are teens and the target group to sell to is kids in middle school. The same age group targeted by VMK. That's probably why VMK has banned the word cheese. They have no way of knowing if the word is being used innocently or not.

I rarely throw my two cents in but I have to here. I think this is silly to make him change this after two years.

You could really take almost any word in the English language and find some "slang" or off-color meaning to it. So does this mean we all have to change our VMK names at some point when VMK finds the "slang" in it?

So sorry that this happened to your son Purpleduck. I personally know how it feels to be attached to a vmk name and then have it suddently ripped away. Hugs to you and your son. :grouphug:

Oh i thought cheese was taken out because "cheese.us"

LOL the royal cheese god ;)

just kidding. for those of you who dont understand, Jesus is the real word. But i guess thats not why they took it out.

Bening in middle school - cough - cheeze is a drug reference. I've heard it used. Very few in my school do drugs but I know what it means but don't think it should be posted.

Nothing Like joining a kids game to keep up to date on all the new drug terms and even how it is made. But making it an issue they have actually made the word more powerful.

Wonder when peanut butter will be banned? Oh my chocolate must be right around the corner, I am sure there has to be a name of a drug on the street titled pop corn, how about candy floss.

Soon Hula will be banned since to do the hula you need to girate your hips. I think there are much more important things to worry about in VMK then if a word is a drug slang.

Wow I thought i'd get banned for saying it that vivdly.

It's not easy to say in public not easy here and I thought saying it was bad on here.

Its information you can get anywhere.

dont you have google on that thing in front of you?

I would agree if they were all products you could pick up at your local pharamacy. Heroine last time I checked was not, and anyone with heroine is well aware they are breaking the law.

Uh-oh I wonder what slang is for sponge?

Even Push's pin had to change its name! Push's Trivia Pin is now called "VMK Trivia Pin"

LOL, that is exactly how I feel!!!

NOOO VMK WHY?

i really wonder why they have to suck the fun out of everything :confused3 :scared:

This reminds me of my friend RedCheez, VMK made her change her title last summer. Now her title is RedChez... so if you take out a letter 'e' it won't be offensive anymore, I guess.

I didn't even know it was offensive to begin with!
