My son opened the boxed pins I got him for Christmas. One of his cards did not have a code, just a blank white space. Is there anything I can do about this?

Hardly! Cards without codes are extremely rare. Any Disney item that's misprinted like this will fetch a lot of money among collectors of Disney rarities.

I got a couple of them last year. I can sell them and fund a new trip to Disney?

woot woot

IF you call Disney and explain what happened, they usually send you a new card

well, as a card collector i can tell you that yes, the blank cards are slightly more valuable than a card with a used code. However, beause these "pin set" cards are already damaged beyond repair with the pin hole in them (which, REALLY burns my biscuits), this card will not be worth any more, in my estimation. I would suggest emailing them with the issue, they are verry good about that.

for card value I can say that, with only a few exceptions, a card with a used code is only worth about a dollar, tops. The exceptions being the Stitch set cards which run about $50 for the set with used codes. The Haunted Mansion and Pirates (original series) cards can also fetch a couple of extra dollars each with used codes. But basically, card with used codes DO NOT sell on ebay in any grand manner, except for the Stitch cards. I personally, however, hunt misprints and printing proofs (I have a nice little collection of proofs and one or two misprints) - those can fetch a few bucks each on ebay, codes used or not.

I've got a wanted poster card with just a white space. :)

As a "newbie" to VMK, where can you buy these "cards" that have codes on them? Is it *only* at one of the parks or could I possibly order it online? Also, how do you get more codes?

To get cards in the parks you need to do a quest which reward them or go to a shop (in park shops) which sell items that come with cards. This is probably explained in more detail in the player's guide sticky on top of this forum.
Yes you could order the cards of ebay, but it is frowned upon and could lead to a VMK ban.

You can find cards on eBay. Usually, they don't go for much (I have seen $0.99 ones)

I would NOT buy any from eBay, as I was one of many who gave away over 300 VMK codes from the "Hidden Mickey" game that was played on eBay... which I was given a a few and got me started playing VMK and am *loving it* !!

Was just wondering how you go about getting "new" codes... the games you can play, on VMK, to get new codes can be a bit frustrating. :sad2:

Thank you very much for the information though :flower3:

buying the CARDS on ebay can not lead to a ban. It is NOT against VMK values at all. And even if it was, how in the world would they know that the code you entered you did not get from the park yourself?

I really do not get why some people give false information like that

The poster never said buying codes on ebay will get you banned.

What I think Tiggerholic was saying is that people do give codes away so don't waste your money.
