Have a fantastic trip Ronny .. I can't believe it is here already! It doesn't seem like a year ago that we first talked!

I was on the same trip as California lady. There really were not that many times, maybe two the whole trip that the group separated. One was at the collisieum and the 13 year olds went with the junior adventurers. The wine tastings were not offered to any of the junior adventurers so they had to separate. Any child over 15, I think they allowed to the adult dinner and wine tasting. It was not a big deal, most of the kids just naturally went toward the appropriate age group. The families all stayed together in Rome, but by Tuscany, the kids were all fast friends and hung out together. There was a lot more down time and group activities in Tuscany.

Thanks everyone for all of their comments. You all are making me soooo excited.

MJ, I read your blog religiously. I'm so glad you had such a great time and I see that you booked again for next year. That's awesome. I'm skipping next year. Just going to Disneyland and Palm Springs for a couple weeks with hubby. He got to choose where we go next year and I can't complain one bit since we both love Disneyland so much. I hope you love it as much as we do.

Anyways, I will really try to do a trip report when I get back. I'll have to learn how to add pics. :confused3

This had to be our trip as well! We are a mother and daughter from Texas. What a great trip report, I couldn't have said it better myself. It really was a fantastic trip and such an incredibly nice group of people. We really had the greatest time and we are both thinking about doing another Adventure by Disney next year. The only thing I would add is that I really don't think this is the best choice for younger kids. The kids on our trip were great, but I think they really need to be a little older to appreciate all the art and history. As much as Disney tried, I think the little kids qot quite bored in parts. It is hot in the summer, and there is a lot of walking. That said it was an absolutely fabulous trip. The hotel in Rome was gorgeous and our guides were the best. We LOVED every second.

Natalie - how young were the kids you were concerned were too young to really appreciate the trip? We have a 9 and 8 year old at the time of our trip dates and wondering about your comments here and what you mean by "little kids" and what you observed of the younger ones.
