Viva Italia - Laundry available in Tuscany?

We're adding a few days onto the begining & end of our tour and want to limit our luggage.

Since there's some down-time in Tuscany, is there a self laundry available?
Need to pack detergent?

We were there 2 years ago and did our laundry there. It's coined operated and detergent was available. I remember getting up early to do it since there was only one washer and one dryer.

Good to hear. Since we're there for a few days, we should find time to do a load or two.

I was just there this past September and to the best of my knowledge there aren't any laundry facilities in the Artimino "hotel". I put hotel in quotes because it really is just a two story converted stable. there is a small bar area, a small breakfast room and a lobby with a sitting area. That's basically it for the structure itself.

Mapsd - The laundry was by the pool kind of tucked away in a small room. I looked at the website you posted and when we went we stayed in what they call on the website "The Borgo." It's like a quaint little village with unique apartments. Every apartment is different. The one we had actually had two levels and we had a beautiful view from the bedroom window of the the Medici Villa. It was quite magical.
