In Venice, one of the special events is that you get to visit a Venetian mask shop and create your very own mask. They show you the process of how a mask is formed and painted. Then you are given a workspace and supplies. Amazingly, we all turned into Italian Renaissance artists.
Below are pictures of the masks that our group made. ABD also provides you with some bubble wrap and a bag to carry the masks home with you on the plane. This event was a lot of fun and you can see how much effort and creativity folks put in to make these amazing masks. Definately a unique experience.
