We've booked our 2003 trip, 14 nights at BCV with our DVC points. My sister and her family, have managed to get 14 nights at the Vistanna resort through their Timeshare for a similar time. If anyone has stayed there and has any information it would be appreciated - it may be our 8th trip, but it will be their 1st and I don't want them to be disappointed with the accommodation.

Hello. We are headed to Vistana resort in 2 1/2 weeks from now and I will post when we return to let you know how we got on. Vistana Resort usually gets rave reviews, I'm hoping to be in the newest Cascades section. (Which is meant to be the nicest.) The resort is a huge place and the link below is to their website. I also managed to find quite a lot of pictures through either expedia.com or travelocity.com. Hope this information is helpful and that we, and your family are not disappointed.

I stayed in Vistana resort, but it was about 6 years ago so my memories of it are a little bit hazy!!

It's a great resort though, good quality accommodations and very close to Disney (they would need car hire though), there are lots of pools, tennis courts etc. I remember when I was there thinking that it was a shame we were in Orlando and not really in a position to be at the accommodation enough to appreciate it as it was so nice!!

The villas had everything you could need in them, microwave, full kitchen, washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, 3 tv's (in a 2 bedroom) even a video.

From reading the reports on these boards it sounds like it is still a great place to stay!!

:D

Hi we stayed at Vistana resort in 2000 and liked it so much we bought a week, after we came home. Its a fantastic place.
We own in Spas one of the older sections but slightly larger and only 2 storey, the new sections can be 7 storeys high. We are between the super pool and cascades pool but have used all of them at least once! The rooms are great and constantly being refurbed, ours had been decorated pre-Feb and has since had a new carpet, the roofs were re-done in 2000. You take 2 right turns out of the resort and you are on Disney Property via World Gate, there are loads of good restaurants in LBV to suit all tastes and budgets.
Any specific questions fire away.
