I just learned today that friends of ours are also going to Disney this August and some of our dates overlap. They are NOT staying on property - rather they are staying in the family timeshare nearby.

My question is - can they still come visit us at our campsite at the Fort? And would they be allowed to participate in the campfire and singalong or is that for Disney resort guests only?

They can still come, but their vehicle stays parked at the lot at check in. I think you can make arrangements with the front desk ahead of time to save some hassle.

Last March some friends of ours visited for the day. I let them know when we checked in and when our friends arrived they had there parking passes ready and we picked them up on the golf cart. Couldn't have been easier.

We were down there in October and my mother came to visit, showed up at 7 in the morning and told them at the shack who she was going to see and they let here right in with her car and even gave her a map on how to find the site. I had not told them that we were going to have visitors or anything.

Thanks all - nice to know they can come enjoy some time at the Fort with us. :)
