Visiting Resorts / Staying Off Site

If I stay off site, would I be allowed to visit a few Disney Resorts. I wanted to check out the Beach Club Villas. I wanted to view the DVC propertys before I invest in one.

Absolutely allowed. You can visit any of the resorts for a visit, dining, shopping, etc. The monorail resorts are fairly restrictive on parking though.
