I have so many questions and I am not sure where to post them because they deal with many factors.. DVC, cruise and Universal.

#1 factor is our Universal days would either be arriving on Easter and staying for 2 nights (pre-cruise) or arrive the Sunday after Easter for 2 nights. Any opinions on which would be best. I am a little concerned about how tired we may be post cruise. I have never been to Univ./IA or on a cruise so I am clueless!

I think the crowds would be less with most families back home for school the Monday after (the midwest at least) Spring Break. Am I wrong?
And also would the rooms go down a little compared to the obvious peak days?

Our DVC stay will be just relaxing and hitting Disney Quest. So that would be a good post-cruise plan but the budget is getting tighter as my wish list grows.

I wish the room rates would just come out already!!!

Well, you will not be tired post cruise. The cruise is very relaxing without much action and not nearly as much walking. I would visit after the cruise. Going on Easter can be busy. Of course, it sounds like you are going to stay onsite. If this is the case, decide once the park hours come out. Easter can have longer hours, so you would get more for you money since you could be in the parks longer. If you are staying onsite, it really does not matter.

Thank you Badge!

Worst part will be accomidations.
DVC 2 bedroom
299 sq ft cabin on the Dream
2 Q Pacific Royal.

I think the 2 rm Q would be just as painful after the 2 br but at least it is larger than the cabin so we will be happy

On cruises, I have always been shocked at how much space you really get. It sounds like a very small space, but it is really, really well designed. Becuase you will have a lot of bags and stuff, they had to come up with a place to store them to not take up room space, so you can easily slide almost every type of bag under the beds. Then they normally have a nice amount of closet space to hold your clothes and stuff. Also, your on a cruise and at Universal! No need to spend time in the room :P
