Visiting over thanksgiving

Hello,

I'm so excited for our upcoming trip to Dland...this is our 9th year of going with our two kids, who are now 13. The very first thing I do once I book our trip is check this website's message boards. I just booked our Thanksgiving meal at Cafe Orleans.

The biggest change seem to be whether or not to buy a Maxpass. I'm concerned about getting onto the "new" tower of terror (or whatever it's called now) so I'm wondering if it would make it easier to get fastpasses for this ride. Any thoughts? Or am I doomed to stand in line for two hours lol?

Well, I'd certainly buy Maxpass since that will be an extremely busy week, and Maxpass will help you use FP more quickly and efficiently overall.

As to whether you "need" it for GOTG (the "new" Tower), I mean, no... by Thanksgiving, when the "Monsters After Dark" overlay is done, that will probably go back to being the 2nd-most-popular FP at DCA (after RSR), but it won't be particularly challenging to get or anything.

So, yes, I'd totally get Maxpass, but I wouldn't get it just because of GOTG. I'd get it because it will make getting ALL FPs more convenient and efficient, which will definitely on such a high-crowd week.
